I am genuine, warm, and more often quiet than loud (this helps me take it all in!). I care a lot about the people I work with, and many clients become friends. As someone who has filmed weddings for 20 years, and because of my birth worker training, I know the importance of calmness, presence and holding space on days of major life transitions. On wedding days, I am there to capture the event as it unfolds. I do not direct. I am there to artfully document. It's about knowing where to be at the right moments.
While I am based in Rhode Island, I lived in Brooklyn, NY for 13 years and often travel to New York for weddings and to see friends. Really, you can take me anywhere! Some of my favorite places to travel and make films include Mendocino, California, the Southwest, coastal Maine and all over Europe. My travel fees will be included in the custom quote I'll send you, so there will be no hidden costs later on.
My focus is digital long format documentary films, Super 8mm highlight films and 1 song/no day of audio digital highlight films. Here is my client guide with more information. Please reach out for current package pricing.
Long form digital edits take around 12 weeks. Super 8 edits take at most 4 weeks (after all, they're short and sweet).
If you choose to add music to your film (I am also happy to just use the sounds of the day or leave a Super 8 film silent), I select the music from a premiere music licensing source, Musicbed. Before your wedding day, I send you a lengthly questionnaire which asks, for one, about your favorite songs or bands. and we talk about how you might want your film to feel, so the music aligns with your sensibilities and preferences.
Yes! I began offering Super 8mm film in early 2025. As someone who fell in love with filmmaking using Hi8 and MiniDV standard definition digital cameras that produce imagery with soft and dreamy edges similar to that of film, I am really excited for this new offering. I hope to start shooting 16mm as well. Let me know if you are interested!
The first step is to reach out on my contact form! After I receive your inquiry, I’ll send over my calendar to set up a call. After we have agreed to work together, I will send over a contract which will have information regarding a deposit. From there, I will send you and your fiancé a questionnaire that has silly questions such as "if your wedding was a fruit, what kind of fruit would it be?" and more serious questions such as "if your wedding film is a success, what will it show?" We will set up time to connect ahead of your wedding day and plan a seamless timeline together.

Digital long format documentaries: This kind of film is about capturing in a way that isn't overworked, stylized or directed, but leans on great instinctual documentary camerawork that asks nothing of you and lets you be present in your day. It's a walk through your day as a guest, and a nod to your parents wedding film, in which you see beautiful real moments, not the latest tiktok trend.
Super 8 highlight films: Super 8 is magical. It just captures differently than digital (compare Abby + Zach's Super 8 and digital highlights). Film is pretty expensive, but you don't need a lot of it to capture the essence of a day.
Digital highlight films: Similar to Super 8, it can be quite fun to choose a great song and simmer down your day cut to the beat. While it can be great to have a long film of your day, a highlight film is easily digestible and shareable.
